Day 1 : MARRAKECH - ARRIVAL

On arrival at Marrakech airport, our staff will welcome you, transfer you to your hotel or riad and settle you in. If time permits, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of this fascinating country with a self-guided tour of Djemaa El Fna Square. Every evening, food stalls are set up in the square where you can enjoy a rich selection of typical local specialities.

Day 2 : MARRAKECH - OURIKA & le Safran - TAROUDANT

Departure in the morning towards Ourika, the small Berber town at the foot of Toubkal, the highest peak in Morocco, is surrounded by olive groves, flourishing gardens and vegetable gardens. First you visit the Anima Garden. This exotic garden, created by the universal artist André Heller, covers three hectares and contains some amazing sculptures. Not far away is the "Saffron Paradise", an organic garden with about 100 different plants, designed and managed by the Swiss Christine Ferrari. During the tour you learn all about the precious saffron, the aromatic and medicinal plants, the remedies of the Berbers. After a delicious lunch, we continue to the Tizi N'Test, the legendary pass that leads from Marrakech to Taroudant via Asni and the Ouirgane dam. This winding road in the High Atlas offers fantastic landscapes with small villages clinging to the mountain sides. Stop at the ancient Berber village of Tinmel, a historical place. Visit the mosque built to commemorate Mohamed Ibn Toumart, founder of the Almohad dynasty. This small mosque, dating from the same period as the Koutoubia, has been beautifully restored and is one of the mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslims. At the top of the pass, you will have a breathtaking panoramic view of the Souss plain, the garden of southern Morocco with its market gardens and huge plantations of citrus and other fruit trees and shrubs. After many twists and turns, you finally arrive in Taroudant. A walk through the old town at the end of the day is well worthwhile. Overnight in Taroudant.

Day 3 : TAROUDANT - AGADIR - Argan oil - ESSAOUIRA

After breakfast, a short visit to Taroudant. With its ramparts and lively souks offering a wide range of goods, the city is very reminiscent of its big sister Marrakech. Surrounded by 7.5 km of impressive earthen walls with gates, towers, corner bastions, Taroudant is often called "the little Marrakech" and the old town with its typical stores and red houses has retained the authentic charm of Morocco. Then you will go to Essaouira, the pearl of the Atlantic. You will pass through Agadir, then follow the coast. Soon the road reaches an immense plateau with forests of argan trees - it is from its fruits, that the famous argan oil is produced by the women. You will be introduced to the secrets of the production of this precious oil which is used and known by Berber women for centuries for cooking, its health benefits and its cosmetic virtues. At the end of the day, you will arrive in Essaouira, the old Portuguese "Mogador

Day 4 : ESSAOUIRA

The old Portuguese port city "Mogador" is exciting, you can easily explore it by yourself. Besides the beach and the sea, Essaouira (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001) offers a peaceful medina. 
In the morning, at the lively port and in the fish market there is a fish auction. Then discover the most important sites of this picturesque city: the bastion of the port, the many narrow streets of the medina, the traditional stalls and souks and the artisans making beautiful objects from cedar wood. Visit the ramparts of the Sqala dotted with ancient copper cannons, these fortifications offer a splendid view of the sea. Enjoy a walk along the beach, which following strong trade winds, is ideal for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing or if the wind is not too strong, laze on the beach ...
At noon, let yourself be tempted by a good fish or seafood dish. Eating fish in one of the stalls on the Moulay Hassan square on the way to the port is a unique experience. And in the evening, enjoy the typical regional dishes in one of the many authentic restaurants.

Day 5 : ESSAOUIRA - OUNARA - MARRAKECH

Today on the way back to Marrakech and after passing the cedar forests, stop at Ounagha to visit the Val d'Argan vineyard, to date the only vineyard in Morocco to have obtained certification of compliance with the European regulation governing organic farming. The particularity of the place is that it offers to the vines a climate mixing at the same time the wind of the sea to that of the desert. These climatic differences bring to the wines, white, rosé, grey or red an extremely delicate taste. After a tasting, you take the road again in the direction of Marrakech, you cross typical villages and large argan groves and when the High Atlas will be visible on the horizon, you approach Marrakech

Day 6 : MARRAKECH - DEPARTURE

Today, alas the day of return has come and say goodbye and return home with the memory loaded with full memories and in your luggage.
