Suprateam Travel : HOLIDAY IN MOROCCO

Trekking was always a passion for the founders of Suprateam Travel. Morocco offers a great options either at the north eastern regions, or in the desert especially in the great mountain ranges that cross the country the High Atlas. In all those years of our existence, we were always looking for something new, roads off the beaten track. Now, the isolated chains offer an exceptional beauty. The Happy Valley of Ait Bougmez with its valley and the main rivers, the canyons of the Central High Atlas, and its people with deep roots in the traditions. We reached the high mountains of the Central High Atlas with J 'bel M'goun (4071m as the main summit). This chain separates water. These paths lead to the north as to the south and the water was searching and finally found its way thousands of years ago. The M'Goun Gorges are a paradise for hikers.

Day 1: Arrival to Marrakech. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at your hotel

Day 2: Visit of Marrakech. ½ day. The rest of the day free time at night at the hotel

Day 3: Transfer to Ait Bougmez. En route visit of the Natural Bridge of Demnate. overnight at a hostel

Day 4: The day begins with the ascension of the mountain. 3 1/2h walk to the pasture Ikiss n 'amrousse.

Day 5: On the road to the Tarkedite hut through a pass of 3050m.The hut is located on 2950m of alitude. It’s beautifully located 5 hours walking 

Day 6: the peak of Jbel M ‘Goun 4071m. approx 5 hours. the descent towards the Ikarwine pasture Alp. Camp at 2700m, about 3 hours of descent

Day 7: Today is a walk through the pastures located at the peak all along the M’Goun  river. A bivouac is in Tighremt n’ait Hamad. 5h walking

Day 8 to day 10: Still hiking along the river. Often in the river. The narrowest passage for mules.  very impressive and varied Hiking. Between 4 and 6 hours per day.

Day 11: Another piece of road in the morning to get to Boutghrar around miday. Then we farewell the team that has looked after us all these days. Transfer to Tinghir. Overnight at hotel Tombouctou this old house built in the 40s of the last century.

Day 12: Free time Tinghir. Just to relax, do nothing or explore the city, the Todra Gorges or the Afanour Mosque.

Day 13: A visit to the Museum of El Khorbat promises a view in the details of the customs of the southern Morocco. Dinner and overnight at your hotel, Tinghir

Day 14: Free morning. In the afternoon, transfer to Ouarzazate. Farewell dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate

Day 15: Transfer to the airport of Ouarzazate. Departure.
